Level 2 - Disruptive Conduct

Level 2 - Disruptive Conduct Disruptive conduct is defined as those activities engaged in by scholar (s) which tend to impede orderly classroom procedures or instructional activities, orderly operation of the school, or the frequency or seriousness of which disturb the classroom or school. The provisions of this regulation apply not only to within-school activities, but also to scholar conduct en route to and from school, on a school bus, at the bus stop, or any other mode of transportation; to include whenever a behavior negatively impacts school climate, safety, and well-being of scholars and staff. and the well-being of scholars and staff.

The submission of a Scholar Discipline Hearing Packet for a School or Constituent Board level Hearing (for all Level 1 offenses that elevates to a Level 2 violation and most Level 2 offenses), will require the evidence of Tier 1-3 support offered to scholars and parents. Failure to implement interventions of support may jeopardize the review and approval of a discipline packet.

380 Probation Violation This coding is only used for scholars who were placed on a BOARD PROBATION CONTRACT and have violated the probation contract as assigned during a hearing. The school should code the incident as a probation violation, complete a FULL EXPULSION packet, to include all Level 2 referrals that led to the violation. OFFENSES violated before the assignment of a probation cannot be counted against a scholar.
