CCSMS WINTER CONCERT 2023

On Thursday December 14, 2022, the CCSMS Middle School and High School Bands will be participating in a Winter Concert in the auditorium at 6:00 PM. This is mandatory for all qualified band scholars enrolled in the band class.

We would like to invite all of our parents and friends of our band members to listen to the wonderful progress they have made through this semester. As always with our concerts, we will provide pizza and drinks for the band scholars and we will need band
parents to help monitor and supervise the band scholars in that short amount of time. Please contact me if you can help.

It’s strongly advised that the scholars will need to stay on campus as there is very little time to have them go home, get ready, and return to the school for band set-up and warm up. (The performance begins at 6:00 with
the band taking the stage at 4:45.)

The attire for the concert is as follows (There are slight changes to the attire this year):                                                                                                                       

Male scholars: Black pants and shoes, black dress shirt.
Female scholars: Black skirt or dress slacks, black dress top, OR a black dress.

Times: 

3:10 Band scholars check in at the auditorium.
3:20 Band scholars will eat at this time. The auditorium will also be set up for the concert.
4:20 Band scholars should begin changing and assembling in the concert area.
4:45 Advanced Band scholars will tune, spot-check music, and make final preparations.
5:30 Transition for Beginning band students to take the stage and warm-up
6:00 Winter Concert begins!!! 

7:15 Anticipated time the concert ends. Students return music, stands, and instruments to storage and may leave.

• Middle School List: Windsor Overture, March Uno, Anasazi, Ancient
Hunters, Warp Speed

• High School List: Knight’s Last Ride, Santa of Seville, Benediction, Tango for
Two Left Feet, Autopilot, Blues is My Favorite Color
