COVID 19 Updates and Links

  1. If your scholar has tested positive for Covid.
  2. Or, your scholar is showing Covid symptoms and you are keeping them home to monitor.
  3. Or, your scholar has been identified as a close contact off campus.
  • This email will go to our nurse and our staff assisting with managing academic supports for your scholar.
  • Please let us know immediately if your child tests positive for Covid.  There are steps we must take to help prevent any further spread and to make sure your scholar has the academic resources and supports needed.

Mask Use:

  • Masks are required on all CCSD school campuses, including CCSMS.  Face coverings are required indoors for students, employees, and visitors. CCSMS will follow the CCSD Mask policies. No prohibited funds will be used in the enforcement of mask use.
  • Masks will be worn on all school buses, consistent with the CDC Federal Order under the Public Health Service Act. ( Bus Policy )
  • Masks will be worn by all who enter a school health clinic and athletic training space inside schools.
  • An opt out form has been provided to those families who had previously opted out of wearing masks this school year.  If you would like to consider options for your child, please review  this Form.

Scholar Activities and Clubs

  • Scholar Activities and Afternoon Activity Buses will be taking a 3 week hiatus.
  • We will restart on October 12, 2021. 
  • This does not include Afternoon Academy.
  • This does not include Fall Athletics Teams.

CCSMS School Educational Plan for Scholars Quarantined- This document is linked to a Google Document so that updates are shared with scholars and staff immediately. 

The information on this page will be updated as new guidance is issued by the state or federal government.

The current plans for the 21-22 school year are underway.  Per requirements,  here are the initial plans (Safe Restart CCSMS Plan July 2021)  aligned with compliance guidance.  A more user friendly version will be developed with clear protocol and steps we are taking.
